Born on April 28, 1962 in Leiden in The Netherlands, Bryan started to perform as a professional bassplayer in the early eighties untill the mid nineties playing sixty gigs a year:
... "When you're eightteen years old, green and inexperienced, you're grateful for any guidance and direction you can get."                                                                        

In that period Bryan became familiar with rock, pop, jazz, funk and soul.

In 1995 he estabished Groovy 4 U, an acid-soul-jazz coverband influenced by Jamiroquai, Brand New Heavies and Incognito.
After A period of 6 years with G4U he decided to split up the band:
"I've always been a huge fan of acid-jazz. I love soul, R & B and jazz...

In september 2000 Bryan started an ambitious project together with Peter Laterveer, named the P-Alley Band to work for The Entertainment Group Agency in Hilversum with wellknown dutch stars.
As the musical leader of this big formation (16) he played with outstanding musicians.
The Media Convention in Munich (Germany) was one of Bryan's highlights with the P. Alley Band.

From 2006 untill the end of 2009 Bryan played with Adinda:
"This great band made me grow more, ...you guys are the best !"

In that same period Bryan was also occassionally playing in the coverband Daytona.
